Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

Break A Leg !! stores all your data locally on your phone. We have no server, no account system, and no analytics. We cannot see your runs, your location, or any of your data.

What data we collect

Data Where it goes Why
GPS location (during runs) Stays on your phone The zombies chase your real position — this is the game
Run history (distance, time, pace) Stays on your phone So you can see your records and badges
Settings (units, vibration, etc.) Stays on your phone So the app remembers your preferences

What we DON'T collect

Permissions we ask for

Permission Why we need it
Location (foreground + background) To track your run and let zombies chase you, even with the screen locked
Notifications To show your distance and nearest zombie on the lock screen
Vibration To alert you when zombies get close

Data deletion

Break A Leg !! has no user accounts and no servers. Everything the app records — your GPS track, run history, settings and badges — is written only to the app's private storage on your own phone. None of it is ever transmitted to us or to anyone else, so we hold no copy of your data at any time.

How to delete your data

You can erase everything yourself at any time. Both methods take effect immediately:

Deletion is permanent. We keep no backup of any kind, so a deleted run history cannot be recovered — not by you and not by us.

Submitting a data deletion request

There is no data deletion request process, because there is no data for us to delete. We operate no server, no database and no account system, and we never receive your location, run history or settings. All of it stays on your device and is under your control, so a request to us would have nothing to act on.

If you have any question about deleting your data, you can still contact us at contact.breakaleg@gmail.com and we will reply with instructions for removing it from your device.

Changes

If we ever add a server or analytics, we'll update this policy and notify you in the app.
